Established in 2004, the Museum is housed in the former Buffalo Lodge Building and is home to a collection of items which give a picture of the development of the district. This Society has now also acquired the former historic Court House for also housing displays.
The Kow Plains Homestead has recently been restored and also won an international award for heritage.
